Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti keberkesanan pendekatan kempen pendidikan
bagi menimbulkan kesedaran terhadap penipuan cinta siber di negeri Selangor.
Kajian ini juga menilai tahap penerimaan dan tahap kepuasan masyarakat terhadap
pendekatan kempen dalam menangani masalah sosial yang semakin serius ini. Kajian
ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian sebelum dan
selepas intervensi. Sebanyak 400 orang responden yang berumur dalam lingkungan
31 hingga 40 tahun telah dipilih secara rawak sebagai sampel kajian ini. Satu set soal
selidik telah digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengumpul data yang diperlukan
bagi kajian ini. Dapatan kajian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan ujian-t
sampel berpasangan. Min skor bagi ujian pra ialah 37.55 dengan sisihan piawai 13.83
manakala min skor bagi ujian pos ialah 55.47 dengan sisihan piawai 8.65. Dapatan
kajian ini telah menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan signifikan pada tahap
