Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pelaksanaan peta pemikiran i-Think dalam kalangan murid tingkatan empat. Kesan penggunaan kaedah peta pemikiran ini dilihat dari sudut pencapaian murid dalam aspek kemahiran insaniah iaitu kemahiran berkomunikasi, kemahiran pemikiran kritikal dan penyelesaian masalah dan kerja berkumpulan. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Persampelan kajian dijalankan secara rawak mudah melibatkan 196 orang pelajar tingkatan empat yang mengambil subjek Sains Teras di negeri Pulau Pinang. Dua jenis instrumen yang digunakan ialah soal selidik guru dan soal selidik murid. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Pelaksanaan Program i-Think dalam aspek (1) pengetahuan i-Think guru, (2) kemahiran guru menerapkan i-Think, (3) perancangan sekolah, (4) amalan PdP, (5) bahan bantu mengajar, (6) aktiviti murid, (7) pementoran, (8) pemantauan, (9) kemahiran komunikasi, (10) pemikiran kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah dan (11) kerja berkumpulan. Skor min yang dicatat adalah antara 3.60 - 4.14 ( Skala Likert Lima Markat). Manakala statistik inferensi pula melibatkan ujian-t di mana tiada perbezaan yang signifikan antara guru dan pelajar sekolah bandar dan luar bandar dalam 10 aspek tersebut kecuali pemikiran kritis dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan nilai t adalah 2.637 (Dk = 194, P
