Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti manfaat rangkuman kewangan terhadap
prestasi perniagaan mikro (pulangan jualan dan pulangan modal) di negeri
Terengganu. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan melibatkan seramai
350 orang responden yang mewakili pertubuhan perniagaan mikro di sekitar negeri
Terengganu. Sampel diambil berdasarkan kaedah persampelan rawak mudah dan
data diperolehi melalui edaran soal selidik. Kaedah analisis korelasi Pearson
digunakan untuk menguji hubungan di antara manfaat rangkuman kewangan
(penggunaan akaun simpanan, penggunaan kemudahan kredit) dengan prestasi
perniagaan mikro. Manakala, kaedah analisis regresi linear sederhana digunakan
bagi menguji pengaruh manfaat rangkuman kewangan (akses kemudahan
kewangan, penggunaan akaun simpanan dan penggunan kemudahan kredit) dengan
prestasi perniagaan mikro. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan di
antara penggunaan akaun simpanan dengan prestasi perniagaan mikro (pulangan
jualan r=0.308, p=0.000; pulangan modal r=0.143, p=0.007). Dapatan kajian kedua
juga menunjukkan hubungan di antara penggunaan kemudahan kredit dengan
prestasi perniagaan mikro (pulangan jualan r=0.426, p=0.000; pulangan modal
r=0.255, p=0.000). Seterusnya, dapatan analisis regresi linear sederhana
menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dimensi rangkuman
kewangan dengan prestasi peniagaan mikro. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini mendapati
bahawa terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi prestasi perniagaan mikro
selain daripada dimensi rangkuman kewangan. Kajian ini juga membuktikan bahawa
responden lebih memilih peningkatan prestasi jangka masa pendek kerana mereka
mendapatkan pulangan jualan tanpa mengambil kira pulangan modal yang
merupakan peningkatan prestasi jangka masa panjang. Implikasinya, responden
mempunyai risiko perniagaan yang tinggi dalam usaha meningkatkan prestasi
perniagaan kerana dalam hal ini, kemudahan kewangan dalam bentuk kredit lebih
diberikan keutamaan berbanding penggunaan akaun simpanan. Oleh itu, kajian
lanjut yang lebih terperinci terhadap faktor-faktor lain dalam mengukur manfaat
rangkuman kewangan dan prestasi perniagaan mikro perlu dipertimbangkan
sewajarnya. |
