Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan antara pengetahuan, daya tarikan syarikat dan keperluan peribadi dengan penglibatan mahasiswa Muslim di Universiti Awam dalam perniagaan pelbagai peringkat (MLM) patuh syariah. Konstruk penglibatan adalah berdasarkan kepada Teori Penglibatan Astin yang menfokus kepada keseimbangan keperluan peribadi dengan aktiviti luar. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk korelasi. Sampel kajian seramai 377 mahasiswa Muslim telah dipilih secara rawak mudah berdasarkan jadual sampel saiz Krejcie dan Morgan daripada populasi kajian seramai 21,646 mahasiswa Muslim di tiga buah universiti Awam di negeri Perak. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada satu set soal selidik yang telah disahkan oleh tiga orang pakar dan nilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen adalah tinggi berdasarkan pekali Alfa Cronbach, α = 0.90. Statistik deskriptif dan inferens seperti kekerapan, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai, korelasi Pearson dan regrasi pelbagai telah digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa mahasiswa Muslim bersetuju bahawa memiliki pengetahuan tentang perniagaan MLM (M = 3.83). Namun responden hampir tidak pasti (M = 3.44) samada daya tarikan syarikat mempengaruhi mereka untuk melibatkan diri dalam perniagaan MLM patuh syariah. Walaubagaimana pun, responden bersetuju (M = 3.65) bahawa keperluan peribadi menyebabkan mereka terlibat dalam perniagaan MLM patuh syariah.
