Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Sehingga   hari  ini,   kajian  berkaitan  kompetensi   jurulatih  Pendidikan  Luar   amat berkurangan  di  Malaysia  akibat  terhadnya  instrumen  pengukuran.  Sehubungan  itu, kajian  ini   bermatlamat  untuk  membangunkan  instrumen  penilaian  kendiri  tahap kompetensi  jurulatih   Pendidikan  Luar  Pusat  Kokurikulum  di  Malaysia.  Kajian  ini menggunakan  Model  Bricks  Wall   sebagai  model  utama  kajian  dengan  melibatkan seramai 350 jurulatih Pusat Kokurikulum  Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia dari empat zon di Semenanjung Malaysia. Seramai 110 orang jurulatih  terlibat dalam kajian rintis manakala   bakinya  (n=240)  terlibat   dalam  kajian  sebenar.    Menggunakan  kaedah Modified Delphi Technique secara 2 peringkat, pengkaji telah menentukan kesahan  dan kebolehpercayaan  instrumen,  mengkaji  tahap  kompetensi  jurulatih  Pendidikan  Luar Pusat    Kokurikulum   KPM   dan   mengenalpasti   kesesuaian   serta   kebolehgunaan instrumen. Dapatan  kajian menunjukkan nilai  pekali  kesahan  pakar  bagi  atribut foundations  r=.73,  atribut  hard   skills  r=.81,  atribut  soft  skills  r=.85  dan atribut   meta  skills   r=.89.   Bagi   kebolehpercayaan  instrumen  pula   pekali Cronbach  Alpha  menunjukkan  nilai  atribut   foundations  r=.90,  atribut  hard skills  r=.88,  atribut  soft  skills  r=.93  dan  atribut  meta   skills  r=.92.  Dengan menggunakan analisis faktor (Exploratory Factor Analysis), nilai KMO dan  ujian  Bartlett’s  terhadap  atribut  foundations  adalah  (r=.685  dan  p=.000). Bagi  atribut   hard  skills  pula  adalah  (r=.719  dan  p=.000),  bagi  soft  skills (r=.804  dan  p=.000)  dan   atribut  meta  skills  pula  mencatatkan  ( r=.751  dan p=.000). Bagi hasil dapatan analisis ANOVA  sehala pula mencatatkan t idak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan bagi atribut  foundations dan  hard skills. Manakala   bagi   atribut   soft   skills   dan   meta   skill   menunjukkan    terdapat perbezaan   yang   signifikan   bagi   atribut   tersebut.   Seterusnya,  bagi  dapatan  analisis  Regresi  Berganda,   kesemua  atribut  utama   menunjukkan  perkaitan  yang signifikan  terhadap setiap sub-atribut iaitu p=.001. Manakala bagi hasil dapatan atribut utama juga lihat  menujukkan perkaitan yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi jurulatih Pendidikan  Luar  Pusat   Kokurikulum  KPM  iaitu  p=.001.  Secara  kesimpulannya, kajian  ini  menumpukan  sepenuhnya   kepada  pembangunan  instrumen  dan juga penentuan perbezaan tahap kompetensi jurulatih Pendidikan  Luar Pusat Kokurikulum Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia.
