Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan antara keagresifan dengan prestasi atlet  acara  kumite  pada  temasya  SUKMA  2018.  Kajian  ini  menggunakan  kaedah tinjauan.   Model  keagresifan  Buss  dan  Perry  digunakan  untuk  menerangkan  konsep keagresifan yang  terdiri daripada (a) fizikal, (b) verbal, (c) kemarahan, dan (d) ketara (hostile).  Seramai 104   orang  atlet  karate terdiri daripada  52  lelaki (M=19.05  tahun; SP=1.19) dan 52 orang wanita  (M=19.6 tahun; SP=1.09) daripada 14 buah negeri telah dipilih  secara  rawak  berstrata   berdasarkan  jantina.  Instrumen  kajian  terdiri daripada satu set soal-selidik yang diadaptasi  daripada Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ).  Statistik  deskriptif dan  inferens  digunakan untuk  menganalisis data  seperti kekerapan, peratusan, min, sisihan piawai, MANOVA, dan  korelasi Pearson. Dapatan kajian  menunjukkan  bahawa  tiada  perbezaan  signifikan  daripada   aspek  keagresifan mengikut   jantina  dan  kategori  berat.   Dalam  konteks  prestasi,   ujian   MANOVA menunjukkan atlet lelaki yang berjaya (n = 26) lebih agresif dari segi fizikal dan ketara [F  (3,22) = 4.78; p
