Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh literasi kewangan, agen sosialisasi kewangan dan
lokus kawalan terhadap amalan pengurusan kewangan dan pencapaian akademik pelajar Institusi
Pengajian Tinggi (IPT). Kajian berbentuk tinjauan ini menggunakan instrumen soal selidik yang
ditadbirkan kepada 480 orang responden yang mengikuti program Ijazah Sarjana Muda di lapan
IPT. Data kajian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi seperti
frekuensi, peratus, min, sisihan piawai, ujian-t sampel tidak bersandar dan ujian linear
regresi berganda. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan sumber utama kewangan responden terdiri daripada
biasiswa atau pinjaman yang diperoleh daripada badan kerajaan atau swasta. Majoriti responden
mengalami masalah kewangan kerana wujud ketidakseimbangan antara pendapatan dan
perbelanjaan. Responden mempunyai tahap literasi kewangan (Min=3.29, SP=1.01), agen
sosialisasi kewangan (Min=2.48, SP=1.10), lokus kawalan (Min=3.30, SP=1.00), amalan
pengurusan kewangan (Min=3.13, SP=0.99) dan pencapaian akademik (Min=2.74, SP=0.92) yang
sederhana. Pengujian hipotesis mendapati pelajar lelaki mempunyai amalan pengurusan kewangan yang
