Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membangun dan mengkaji kesan penggunaan Modul STEM Pembelajaran lnkuiri Berasaskan Projek (PIP) terhadap kesedaran kefahaman, minat, sikap dan pencapaian matematik dalam topik Ruang dalam kalangan murid Tahun Satu. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah berasaskan model PIP dan kajian kuasi eksperimen. Sampel kajian melibatkan 59 orang murid Tahun Satu di Seberang Perai Utara, Pulau Pinang, iaitu 33 orang murid dalam kumpulan eksperimen dan 26 orang murid dalam kumpulan kawalan. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan ialah modul STEM, ujian pra dan ujian pasca, soal selidik tentang kesedaran kefahaman, minat dan sikap murid terhadap pendidikan STEM. Data kajian dianalisis menggunakan kaedah statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan modul mempunyai kesahan memuaskan dengan peratus persetujuan ialah 95% dan kebolehpercayaan memuaskan dengan nilai alfa Cronbach ialah 0.701. Analisis Ujian Mann Whitney U menunjukkan bahawa skor pencapaian matematik bagi kumpulan eksperimen adalah lebih baik daripada kumpulan kawalan (u=l 73.5, p = 0.00, r = 0.63) bagi standard pembelajaran 7.1.1 dan (u=lll.0, p = 0.00, r = 0.66) bagi standard pembelajaran 7.1.2. Manakala Ujian Wilcoxon T menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan skor pencapaian matematik bagi kumpulan eksperimen (z= 4.66; p
