Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Penyelidikan   ini   bertujuan   untuk   mengenal   pasti   perkhidmatan   sokongan   yang diperlukan oleh jurulatih dalam kalangan guru. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini  adalah kajian kualitatif berdasarkan pendekatan ‘Grounded Theory’ seperti yang dicadangkan oleh  Strauss & Corbin. Temu bual semi berstruktur terhadap 10   orang   peserta   kajian   digunakan   dalam   penyelidikan   ini   bagi   mendapatkan  maklumat atau data premier yang mencapai kepada objektif kajian ini. Selain itu, data daripada   pemerhatian  dan  analisis  dokumen  berkaitan  dengan  kejurulatihan  juga dianalisis untuk  menyokong data premier. Pemerolehan daripada semua data tersebut telah   dianalisis   menggunakan    kaedah   Thematic   Analysis   seperti   yang   telah dicadangkan   oleh   Patton.   Setiap   data    perlu   melalui   proses   pengekodan   iaitu pengekodan  terbuka,  pengekodan  paksi  dan   pengekodan  pilihan  yang  membentuk tema berkaitan dengan perkhidmatan sokongan yang diperlukan  oleh jurulatih dalam kalangan   guru.   Tema-tema   yang   terbentuk   adalah    pendidikan    kejurulatihan, profesionalisme, laluan kerjaya, kemudahan latihan dan kurikulum bola sepak terkini.  Melalui  tema-tema  tersebut  maka  penyelidikan  ini  berjaya  mencadangkan  sebuah Model    Perkhidmatan  Sokongan  Jurulatih  Bola  Sepak  dalam  Kalangan  Guru  di Sekolah Kuala Lumpur yang  dapat membantu jurulatih menjadi lebih kompeten dan berkesan  dalam  melahirkan  pemain  bola   sepak  yang  berkualiti  di  peringkat  remaja khasnya di Kuala Lumpur. Diharapkan pihak-pihak  terlibat di peringkat sekolah dapat membentuk  pusat  sumber  dan  pengurusan  yang  menggunakan   model  ini  sebagai panduan  dalam  program  pembangunan  bola  sepak  khasnya  untuk  jurulatih   dalam kalangan guru.
