Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar Magical Mat bagi
mengajar operasi tambah matematik mengunakan model ADDIE. Dalam kajian ini hanya empat
fasa yang telah digunakan iaitu fasa analisis keperluan, fasa reka bentuk, fasa pembangunan dan
fasa pelaksanaan untuk membangunkan Magical Mat ini. Di samping itu, teori-teori pembelajaran
(Teori Konstruktivisme Kognitif Piaget, dan Teori Konstruktivisme Sosial Vygotsky) serta model
pembelajaran 5E (engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation) telah
digunakan untuk merancang aktiviti Magical Mat ini. Sampel utama dalam kajian ini
merupakan 56 orang guru prasekolah daerah Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Selain itu, 3 pensyarah dan 2
guru prasekolah sebagai pakar dalam pendidikan awal kanak-kanak telah
mengesahkan pembangunan Magical Mat tersebut. Pendekatan utama yang digunakan dalam kajian ini
adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yang telah diperkukuhkan dengan temu bual serta analisis dokumen
mengikut fasa-fasa tertentu. Soal selidik dan temu bual bagi fasa analisis keperluan
menunjukkan bahawa majoriti guru prasekolah setuju dengan pembangunan BBM untuk mengajar
konsep tambah matematik. Bagi fasa reka bentuk pula, dapatan soal selidiknya telah menghasilkan
prototaip Magical Mat dari segi permukaan dan garis panduannya. Fasa pembangunan pula,
prototaip Magical Mat telah dinilai oleh pakar-pakar pendidikan awal kanak-kanak. Borang
penilaian BBM tersebut dianalisis serta telah melaksanakan penambahbaikan mengikut
cadangan yang diberi oleh pakar. Bagi fasa pelaksanaan pula, Magical Mat tersebut telah digunakan
untuk mengetahui kebolehgunaannya. Berdasarkan analisis data soal selidik dan temu bual, Magical
Mat boleh digunakan dalam sesi P&P untuk mengajar operasi tambah bagi murid prasekolah. Implikasi
yang terdapat dalam kajian ini adalah pembangunanan Magical Mat berdasarkan teori dan model
pembelajaran. Seterusnya, pembangunan Magical Mat bagi membantu guru dalam sesi pengajaran
dan pembelajaran.
