Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengkaji pengaruh latihan guru Pendidikan Islam terhadap kualiti modal insan dalam kalangan guru novis. Reka bentuk penyelidikan ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan hirisan rentas. Seramai 314 orang guru Pendidikan Islam novis di seluruh Malaysia telah dipilih sebagai responden kajian menggunakan teknik pensampelan rawak berstrata daripada lima zon. Saiz sampel ditentukan melalui analisis G*power 3.1. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada satu set soal selidik yang telah disahkan oleh tujuh pakar kandungan dan nilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen mengunakan Alpha Cronbach α = 0.986. Statistik deskriptif iaitu kekerapan, min dan sisihan piawai dan statistik inferensi iaitu MANOVA dan PLS-SEM digunakan untuk menganalisis data kuantitatif. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan responden bersetuju (M=8.41; SP=0.9) bahawa latihan guru pendidikan Islam adalah sesuai dan mereka juga sangat bersetuju (M=9.02; SP=0.7) bahawa kualiti modal insan adalah sangat baik. Bagi menguji perbezaan keberkesanan latihan dan kualiti modal insan guru Pendidikan Islam berdasarkan faktor-faktor demografi maka analisis MANOVA digunakan. Analisis MANOVA menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan keberkesanan latihan guru Pendidikan Islam berdasarkan jantina [F(1,312)=3.72, p.05]. Analisis PLS-SEM menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh latihan guru Pendidikan Islam terhadap kualiti modal insan guru novis terutama daripada aspek prestasi organisasi (β=0.447, p
