Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Berdasarkan data statistik Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia 2017, terdapat sebanyak 191 buah koperasi sekolah yang masih berada ditahap perolehan turnover yang rendah. Hal ini adalah kerana terdapat kelemahan amalan pengurusan serta nilai etika dari segi perancangan, kelolaan dan kawalan koperasi oleh ahli lembaga dan anggota koperasi sekolah. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji amalan pengurusan dan nilai etika guru koperasi di dua buah koperasi cemerlang sekolah menengah kebangsaan. Sehubungan dengan itu, kajian ini telah dijalankan berdasarkan dua objektif kajian iaitu amalan pengurusan dan nilai etika yang diamalkan oleh guru koperasi cemerlang di dua buah sekolah menengah kebangsaan di negeri Selangor. Pengkaji menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif untuk mendapatkan data dengan menemu bual peserta kajian iaitu seramai empat orang guru koperasi, menjalankan pemerhatian dan menganalisis dokumen yang berkaitan dengan kajian. Kajian ini dilaksanakan di dua buah koperasi cemerlang sekolah dalam daerah Hulu Langat. Data kualitatif yang diperolehi telah dianalisis berdasarkan transkripsi temubual peserta kajian secara manual dengan menentukan tema-tema dan subtema yang muncul daripada persoalan kajian yang telah ditetapkan. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa elemen penting dalam amalan pengurusan adalah mempunyai perancangan koperasi yang cekap diikuti dengan elemen kelolaan yang mantap dan berkesan serta elemen kawalan yang berkualiti. Manakala nilai etika menumpukan nilai ketelusan dan amanah terhadap pembangunan sahsiah diri di samping nilai etika yang lain iaitu sadik (benar) dan semangat penyayang menjadikan sebagai sebahagian daripada identiti ahli lembaga dan anggota koperasi yang cemerlang. Kesimpulannya, sesebuah koperasi perlu mempunyai amalan pengurusan koperasi yang menitikberatkan perancangan, kelolaan dan kawalan serta mempunyai nilai etika iaitu nilai ketelusan, amanah, sadik (benar) dan semangat penyayang agar dapat memenuhi dasar yang telah ditetapkan oleh Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia. Justeru itu, kajian ini dapat menyumbang kepada pihak berkaitan seperti Maktab Koperasi Malaysia (MKM), Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM dan koperasi sekolah di Malaysia.
