Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh professional learning community
(PLC) dengan efikasi kendiri (EK) dan profesionalisme guru (PG) di sekolah-sekolah
menengah (SM) di Negeri Selangor, Malaysia. Kajian yang menggunakan pendekatan
kuantitatif ini dilakukan menggunakan reka bentuk korelasi dengan soal selidik yang
diadaptasi daripada instrumen Professional Learning Community, Teacher Sense of
Efficacy Scale dan Standard Guru Malaysia. Seramai 400 orang guru telah dipilih secara
rawak strata berkadaran menggunakan pengelompokan mengikut 10 daerah yang
terdapat di Negeri Selangor iaitu Gombak, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Kuala
Langat, Kuala Selangor, Petaling Perdana, Petaling Utama, Sabak Bernam dan Sepang.
Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferens. Hasil
kajian menunjukkan bahawa professional learning community berada pada tahap tinggi
(M=3.99, SD=0.48), efikasi kendiri (M=4.08, SD=0.49) dan profesionalisme guru
(M=4.14, SD=0.46). Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan bahawa hubungan yang kuat
antara professional learning community r (788)=0.620, p< .005) dengan efikasi kendiri
guru. Manakala hubungan professional learning community r (481)=0.232, p< .005)
dengan profesionalisme guru adalah pada tahap sederhana. Kajian juga menunjukkan
