Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membina modul pembelajaran kendiri strategi pemahaman
membaca teks bahasa Arab. Proses pembinaan modul berdasarkan adaptasi Model Sidek melalui
tiga fasa utama iaitu, analisis keperluan; reka bentuk dan pembinaan; penilaian dan
pelaksanaan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam semua fasa pembinaan melalui
pemerhatian, temubual separa berstruktur, kajian kepustakaan, bukti dokumen, ulasan dan komen
peserta kajian. Data kualitatif disokong oleh data kuantitatif yang diperolehi daripada soal
selidik kesahan kandungan modul oleh empat orang pakar bidang, dan ujian pencapaian (pra
dan pasca) oleh 30 orang responden. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan mereduksikan,
memaparkan, dan membuat kesimpulan serta pengesahan data. Data kuantitatif dianalisis
menggunakan kadar peratusan dan kekerapan bagi soal selidik kesahan modul dan ujian t bagi ujian
pencapaian menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Exel dan SPSS. Dapatan kajian fasa satu menunjukkan
wujudnya keperluan kepada pengajaran strategi pemahaman membaca (adaptasi kaedah Survey,
Question, Read, Recite, Review-SQ3R) secara bermodul. Fasa kedua telah menghasilkan draf modul
secara tersusun dan mempunyai kesahan yang tinggi berdasarkan penilaian kesahan kandungan
oleh pakar bidang. Rumusan ujian t pra kefahaman dan pasca kefahaman menunjukkan
