The purposes of the research were 1) to identify the level of self-compassion among 202 counselors in-training in UPSI 2) to identify three aspects of self-compassion including being kind toward oneself, perceiving one's experiences as part of human experience, and holding painful thoughts and feeling in balanced awareness, and 3) to examine the differences of self-compassion level based on gender, and 4) to examine the differences of self-compassion level between two groups based on their involvement in Assist Super Modul. The Self-Compassion Scale was used to measure the level of self-compassion among the sample. All data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. The findings indicated that the selfcompassion level among counselors in-training were at a moderate level. The results showed that there were no significant differences in self-compassion level based on gender and involvement in Assist Super Modul. |
