Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Portal e-Pembelajaran telah menjadi sebahagian daripada medium pembelajaran di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (IPT) dan kepentingannya sama seperti menghadiri kuliah, tutorial, kerja makmal, pembentangan tugasan, rujukan ke perpustakaan, lawatan luar termasuk latihan industri, praktikum dan seumpamanya. Sebaliknya aktiviti seharian para pelajar pada masa kini terlalu berkait dengan media sosial yang bersifat lebih interaktif dan berinformasi. Objektif utama kajian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keupayaan pensyarah menghasilkan bahan pembelajaran berasaskan media digital dan penyertaan pelajar di portal e-Pembelajaran melalui intervensi di saluran WhatsApp dan Telegram berdasarkan model Lima Fasa Needham (1987). Kajian tindakan ini berpandukan model Kemmis dan (1988) yang melibatkan sekumpulan pelajar program Sarjana Muda Pendidikan (SMP) di sebuah universiti swasta. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan intervensi di saluran WhatsApp dan Telegram berjaya meningkatkan penyertaan pelajar dan variasi bahan pembelajaran berbentuk media digital di portal e-Pembelajaran. Pendekatan konstruktif model Lima Fasa Needham memberi kesan terhadap tahap intelektual dan sahsiah pelajar di media sosial. Institusi disaran membangunkan dasar serta menyediakan fasiliti pembelajaran yang lebih komprehensif sekiranya model ini ingin diaplikasi untuk tujuan penilaian
