Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kehidupan di universiti memerlukan ketahanan diri dan kekuatan dalaman yang kukuh bagi membolehkan pelajar menangani cabaran dan berfungsi secara optimum sebagai seorang pelajar. Sehubungan itu, kajian ini bertujuan membina model yang menghubungkan resiliensi, daya tindak, dan kecerdasan menghadapi cabaran (AQ) dengan kesejahteraan psikologi dalam kalangan pelajar universiti. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperolehi daripada responden kajian melalui instrumen Adolescent Resilience Scale, Stress Coping Style Inventory, Kecerdasan Menghadapi Cabaran, dan Flourishing Scale. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 200 orang pelajar program ijazah sarjana muda dari enam buah universiti awam yang dipilih melalui teknik persampelan bertujuan. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan model persamaan berstruktur melalui kaedah Partial Least Square. Kajian ini menemui tiga dapatan penting, iaitu pertama, model pengukuran yang sah dan boleh dipercayai untuk mengukur resiliensi, daya tindak, AQ, dan kesejahteraan psikologi telah dibina. Penemuan ke dua ialah resiliensi, daya tindak, dan AQ merupakan konstruk yang meramalkan 69.8% varians dalam kesejahteraan psikologi, dan ke tiga, AQ merupakan konstruk peramal utama dalam dinamik hubungan ini. Kajian ini memberi implikasi bahawa model hubungan ini berupaya menggambarkan fenomena kekuatan dalaman untuk mengharungi cabaran dalam konteks kehidupan awal belia sebagai pelajar universiti di Malaysia.
