Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi, motivasi dan stres dengan pencapaian hafazan al-Quran dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah tahfiz di negeri Pahang. Kajian turut mengukur kesan interaksi antara kecerdasan emosi, motivasi, stres dengan pencapaian hafazan berdasarkan kepada jantina, umur, lokaliti, dan latarbelakang pendidikan ibubapa. Kajian juga turut mengkaji pengaruh pembolehubah kecerdasan emosi, motivasi dan stres terhadap pencapaian hafazan Al-Quran. Kajian ini berbentuk tinjauan di mana sampel dipilih secara rawak berstrata melibatkan seramai 254 orang pelajar daripada empat buah sekolah menengah tahfiz di negeri Pahang yang menggunakan kurikulum KPM. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tahap kecerdasan emosi pelajar ialah Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI), manakala Work Preference Inventory (WPI) digunakan untuk mengukur tahap motivasi pelajar, Student Stress Inventory (SSI) untuk mengukur tahap stres pelajar dan pencapaian hafazan pelajar diukur melalui markah peperiksaan Al-Quran. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dua hala dan regresi berganda. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa kecerdasan emosi mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi (r=0.558; R² = 0.311; p
