Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan meninjau kesan modul Boros Maan terhadap pencapaian kosa kata murid tahun empat. Reka bentuk kajian kuantitatif berasaskan kaedah kuasi eksperimen dilakukan dalam penyelidikan ini. Pemilihan subjek kajian dijalankan secara tidak rawak. Seramai 40 orang murid tahun empat yang terlibat iaitu 20 orang murid lelaki dan 20 orang murid perempuan. Lokasi kajian terletak di daerah Tambunan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif skor min dan sisihan piawai. Analisis inferens menggunakan Ujian-t Berpasangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan antara ujian pra dan ujian pasca dalam pencapaian kosa kata murid. Skor min ujian pra murid ialah 35.63 (SP = 13.98) manakala ujian pasca ialah 85.70 (SP = 14.57). Bagi data inferens, t = 19.5 (df = 39) dengan paras signifikan bawah 0.05. Jelas bahawa terdapat peningkatan pencapaian murid dalam kosa kata pada ujian pasca. Implikasi kajian memaparkan bahawa modul Boros Maan yang berasaskan multimedia interaktif menyumbang kepada peningkatan pencapaian kosa kata, dan sesuai dijadikan bahan pembelajaran Bahasa Kadazandusun.
