Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Penyelidikan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kesan emoji senyum reka bentuk flat dan skeumorphism dalam poster kesedaran terhadap emosi, empati serta pengaruh emosi akibat dari reka bentuk emoji yang berbeza terhadap empati pengguna. Enam poster kesedaran keselamatan dengan enam reka bentuk emoji senyum yang berbeza iaitu emoji garis, emoji garis berwarna, emoji vektor, emoji garis dan bayang, emoji tiga dimensi (3D) dan emoji realistik telah dibangunkan, diuji dan dibandingkan. Reka bentuk eksperimen kuasi telah digunakan untuk menjawab persoalan-persoalan kajian yang dibina. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik one-way ANOVA, ujian post hoc dan analisis regresi berdasarkan model Baron dan Kenny. Populasi kajian terdiri daripada pelajar-pelajar kejuruteraan tahun satu di Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Manakala, sampel kajian pula terdiri daripada 700 orang pelajar dari dua buah kampus cawangan UiTM yang dipilih secara persampelan berperingkat. Setiap poster kesedaran dinilai oleh 100 orang pelajar termasuk poster teks semata-mata sebagai kumpulan kawalan. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa wujud perbezaan yang signifikan antara pendekatan reka bentuk terhadap emosi keseronokan (F (5,594) =10.92, p
