Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka penerapan Kemahiran Berfikir Aras Tinggi (KBAT) dalam Pengajaran dan Pemudahcaraan (PdPc) Pendidikan Seni Visual (PSV). Fokus kajian ini menjurus kepada pengetahuan, sikap, kaedah PdPc dan faktor-faktor lain terhadap penerapan KBAT. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian kes telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Pemilihan partisipan kajian dilakukan melalui persampelan purposif (bertujuan). Partisipan yang dipilih terdiri daripada enam orang guru PSV yang berpengalaman mengajar melebihi 10 tahun. Selain itu, terdapat juga 10 orang murid tingkatan empat aliran kemanusiaan yang mengambil subjek PSV. Kesemua partisipan kajian diperoleh dari empat sebuah sekolah di negeri Pulau Pinang. Pengumpulan data dibuat menggunakan kaedah temu bual semi struktur dan kumpulan berfokus, pemerhatian dan analisis dokumen. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan perisian ATLAS.ti 8.0. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan pengetahuan dan sikap guru-guru adalah baik terhadap penerapan KBAT dalam PSV berdasarkan pengalaman, motivasi dan minat mereka. Mereka begitu menyedari keperluan KBAT pada masa ini walaupun mereka kurang mendapat pendedahan secara formal tentang amalan KBAT. Mereka juga berusaha mempelajari kaedah, strategi dan teknik pengajaran bagi pelaksanaannya seperti kaedah perbincangan,kaedah penyelesaian masalah, strategi berpusatkan murid dan teknik demonstrasi. Terdapat pelbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi proses penerapan KBAT iaitu faktor dalaman dan faktor luaran. Faktor dalaman adalah seperti guru-guru, murid-murid, para pentadbir, masa dan bahan pengajaran manakala faktor luaran seperti ibu bapa dan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, kerjasama semua pihak harus ditingkatkan untuk memantapkan pengetahuan pedagogi guru-guru bagi menjana perkembangan kreativiti para murid dalam Pembelajaran Abad Ke-21 secara komprehensif. Implikasi kajian jelas memperlihatkan faktor guru, murid dan semua pihak sangat perlu dan signifikan bagi memartabatkan penerapan KBAT. Diharapkan kajian ini dapat dijadikan panduan dan penambahbaikan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran berdasarkan amalan praktis KBAT khususnya bagi meningkatkan keberkesanan PdPc subjek PSV.
