Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Di Malaysia, instrumen pengesanan awal disleksia kurang dititiberatkan untuk kanakkanak
prasekolah. Maka, kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti
kompetensi guru prasekolah dan ibu bapa dari segi aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran dan
sikap terhadap pengesanan awal disleksia dalam kalangan kanak-kanak prasekolah.
Terdapat dua objektif yang dirangka antaranya objektif pertama dibuat untuk
mengenalpasti masalah pengesanan awal disleksia bagi kanak-kanak prasekolah dari
pandangan guru prasekolah dan ibu bapa. Oleh itu, Kajian Literatur Sistematik (SLR)
digunakan sebagai reka bentuk kajian. Sebanyak 29 artikel dipilih dari Scopus,
Springer, Sage Publications dari tahun 2015 hingga 2020. Daripada 29 artikel hanya 6
artikel dipilih melalui teknik PRISMA untuk menjawab persoalan pertama. Manakala
objektif kedua adalah bagi mengenalpasti kompetensi guru prasekolah dan ibu bapa
dari aspek pengetahuan, kemahiran serta sikap terhadap pengesanan awal disleksia bagi
kanak-kanak prasekolah. Oleh itu, reka bentuk kuantitatif berorientasikan tinjauan
dijalankan dengan menggunakan satu set instrumen soal selidik yang terdiri dari 18
item, yang dikategorikan berdasarkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap. Instrumen ini
diadaptasi dan mempunyai kebolehpercayaan yang tinggi dan kesahan dalaman pada
0.9. Oleh itu, seramai 191 sampel kajian termasuk guru prasekolah dan ibu bapa dipilih
dari persampelan kluster di empat daerah PERAK. Data menggunakan analisis SPSS
dan ujian inferensi statistik two way ANOVA digunakan. Hasil dapatan kajian
menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan antara kompetensi guru
prasekolah dan ibu bapa dari segi pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap terhadap
pengesanan awal disleksia bagi kanak-kanak prasekolah. Impaknya, kajian ini memberi
kesedaran kepada guru prasekolah dan ibu bapa mengenai kemajuan kanak-kanak
prasekolah dalam kemahiran utama seperti membaca, ejaan, menulis dan aritmetik
sejak usia muda. Kajian ini juga mempunyai implikasi dalam beberapa perkara seperti
perubahan dasar, kaedah pelaksanaan, kesediaan guru dan penglibatan ibu bapa.
Cadangan lanjutan adalah kajian ini perlu dilaksanakan di seluruh negara untuk melihat
hasil yang memberangsangkan terhadap pengesanan awal disleksia. |
