Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menyiasat prestasi keupayaan pecut berulang (RSA) berasakna Modul Latihan To n Fro Zig Zag (TFZZ) antara pemain bola sepak universiti. Dua puluh empat pemain bola sepak yang mewakili sebuah universiti awam secara sukarela direkrut sebagai peserta kajian ini dan diminta untuk menjalani ujian RSA yang diubah suai yang mana melibatkan komponen perubahan arah. Peserta dikehendaki melaksanakan ujian RSA dalam dua keadaan, dengan dan tanpa bola. Masa pecutan, indeks keletihan (FI) dan peratusan skala penurunan pecutan (Sdec) dianalisis dan dibandingkan antara kedua-dua protokol. Keputusan menunjukkan bahawa masa pecut tanpa bola lebih cepat berbanding dengan pecut masa dengan bola. Selain itu, FI dan Sdec ditunjukkan lebih tinggi dengan bola berbanding tanpa bola. Disebabkan kejatuhan prestasi yang dilihat di dalam keadaan dengan bola, ia menunjukkan keperluan untuk jurulatih dan atlet untuk meningkatkan keupayaan untuk bergerak pantas dengan bola, kerana ini akan meningkatkan keupayaan pasukan mereka untuk mengawal penguasaan bola yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil sesebuah perlawanan bola sepak.
