Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan perisian Pembelajaran Berasaskan Permainan (GBL) yang dinamakan Prog-GBL dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran masteri dan elemen motivasi model ARCS bagi membantu pelajar dalam mempelajari pengaturcaraan; dan menilai perisian tersebut dari aspek motivasi pelajar terhadap pembelajaran pengaturcaraan. Pembangunan perisian adalah berasaskan model ADDIE dan penilaian pula berasaskan teknik tinjauan. Responden penilaian terdiri daripada 30 orang pelajar yang mengambil kursus pengaturcaraan di salah sebuah universiti awam di negeri Perak. Instrumen utama yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah berasaskan Instructional Materials Motivation Survey (IMMS) yang mengandungi sub skala perhatian, relevan, keyakinan dan kepuasan Dapatan kajian menunjukkan perisian Prog-GBL dengan pengintegrasian pendekatan pembelajaran masteri dan elemen motivasi model ARCS dapat membantu memotivasikan pelajar dalam belajar pengaturcaraan. Penilaian terhadap keempat-empat elemen motivasi ARCS iaitu perhatian, relevan, keyakinan dan kepuasan yang diterapkan ke dalam perisian menunjukkan bahawa keempat-empat elemen motivasi tersebut dinilai sebagai baik dan sangat baik oleh responden. Purata skor bagi setiap elemen ialah perhatian (min = 4.4), relevan (min = 4.8), keyakinan (min = 4.2) dan kepuasan (min = 4.6). Kesimpulannya, ini menunjukkan bahawa responden dapat meningkatkan motivasi dalam belajar pengaturcaraan dengan menggunakan Prog-GBL yang menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran masteri serta elemen motivasi. |
