Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk membangunkan dan mengesahkan Model Kelestarian
Fesyen GFas-S untuk pengamal fesyen dalam bidang pendidikan fesyen. Berdasarkan
teori Tingkah Laku Terancang, Norm Activation Theory dan Model Peramal Tingkah
laku Bertanggungjawab Terhadap Alam Sekitar, lima konstruk utama kajian dipilih
iaitu, penglibatan fesyen, sikap proalam sekitar, kesedaran terhadap alam sekitar,
tanggungjawab serta norma peribadi terhadap alam sekitar dan penggunaan fesyen
lestari. Dua pemboleh ubah penyederhana terlibat iaitu keagamaan interpersonal dan
keagamaan intrapersonal yang dipilih berdasarkan literatur yang berkaitan. Reka
bentuk kajian ini adalah reka bentuk pembangunan model dan kajian ini menggunakan
SmartPLS untuk mengesahkan model yang akan dibangunkan. Dalam fasa pertama
kajian ini, enam orang pakar telah ditemu bual untuk menentukan konstruk awal model
ini. Fasa kedua pula menggunakan Teknik Fuzzy Delphi (FDM) bagi pengesahan
konstruk dan item model yang melibatkan seramai 17 orang pakar. Fasa seterusnya
melibatkan pengesahan model daripada pelajar Seni Reka Fesyen dan Tekstil (SRFT)
daripada 11 Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA) di Malaysia iaitu seramai 366
orang dipilih secara rawak berstrata berkadaran daripada populasi seramai 3,872 orang
pelajar. Analisis SmartPLS version 3.0 telah digunakan untuk menentukan kesan
penglibatan fesyen, sikap proalam sekitar, kesedaran terhadap alam sekitar dan
tanggungjawab serta norma peribadi terhadap alam sekitar dengan penggunaan fesyen
yang lestari dan kesan pemboleh ubah penyederhana. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan
terdapat empat elemen penting dalam penggunaan fesyen lestari iaitu tanggungjawab
serta norma peribadi terhadap alam sekitar (M=5.69, SP=0.91), diikuti sikap proalam
sekitar (M=5.43, SP=0.97), kesedaran terhadap alam sekitar (M=5.28, SP=0.89) dan
penglibatan fesyen (M=5.26, SP=1.09). Kajian ini juga menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh
