Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap afektif warganegara digital dalam kalangan mahasiswa Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris berdasarkan konsep Hormat (Respect), Didik (Educate) dan Lindung (Protect) atau lebih dikenali sebagai konsep REP. Kajian ini melibatkan seramai 500 orang mahasiswa dari sembilan buah fakulti yang berbeza. Instrumen soal selidik berskala Likert 1 hingga 5 digunakan untuk mendapatkan maklum balas. Pemboleh ubah afektif warganegara digital yang dikaji terdiri daripada tiga sub pemboleh ubah iaitu afektif menghormati diri dan orang lain, afektif mendidik diri dan orang lain, serta afektif melindungi diri dan orang lain. Hasil kajian mendapati tahap afektif warganegara digital mahasiwa adalah tinggi iaitu nilai min 4.46 dengan sisihan piawaian 0.43. Kesan daripada pemahaman terhadap kewarganegaraan digital dapat melahirkan warganegara digital yang baik dan berhemah. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa kesedaran mahasiswa mengikut konsep REP membentuk mahasiswa menjadi warganegara digital yang beretika dan bertanggungjawab apabila berada atas talian.
