Pembelajaran dalam talian telah lama diperkenalkan di peringkat pengajian tinggi. Covid-19 memaksa pelajar di sekolah menegah untuk belajar secara dalam talian. Maka pelbagai kaedah pembelajaran dalam talian digunakan. Antaranya adalah pembelajaran dalam talian secara segerak (synchronous) secara persidangan video seperti Zoom, Meet dan Webex. Selain daripada itu, penggunaan aplikasi secara tidak segera juga digunakan seperti menulis mesej dan merakam video melalui aplikasi YouTube, Telegram, Google Classroom dan Whatsapp. Terdapat juga pelajar belajar melalui kedua-dua jenis pembelajaran dalam talian iaitu secara persidangan video dan menulis mesej melalui aplikasi seperti Telegram dan WhatsApp. Kajian ini mendapati setelah melalui pembelajaran dalam talian, sikap yang positif terhadap mata pelajaran fizik ditunjukkan bagi pembelajaran dalam talian manakala motivasi pelajar pula adalah kurang positif. Seterusnya, pelajar yang menjalani pembelajaran secara tidak segerak menunjukkan perbezaan yang signifikan terhadap sikap, motivasi dan pencapaian bagi pembelajaran dalam talian.
