Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan multimedia amali bagi topik Thin Layer Chromatography (MultaTLC) dan mengenal pasti persepsi kebolehgunaan MultaTLC dalam kalangan pelajar Kimia di UPSI terhadap penggunaan multimedia amali yang dibangunkan. MultaTLC ini dibangunkan menggunakan pelbagai perisian dan aplikasi seperti Animaker dan Powerpoint. Kesemua video yang dihasilkan menggabungkan elemen multimedia seperti teks, audio dan grafik.  Sampel kajian yang digunakan adalah melibatkan seramai 132 orang pelajar semester lima, enam dan tujuh Ijazah Sarjana Muda Pendidikan Kimia, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris yang telah mengambil kursus Kimia Organik. Kajian dijalankan adalah berbentuk kuantitatif menggunakan soal selidik skala Likert empat sebagai instrumen kajian melalui kaedah tinjauan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah borang penilaian kesahan dan soal selidik persepsi kebolehgunaan terhadap pelajar Kimia di UPSI yang terdiri daripada aspek reka bentuk, kebergunaan, kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan penggunaan MultaTLC. Instrumen kajian ini telah disahkan oleh dua orang pakar dalam bidang Kimia. Pelaksanaan kajian rintis dalam kajian ini melibatkan 15 orang pelajar ISMP Kimia semester lima, enam dan tujuh yang dipilih bagi menjawab soal selidik kebolehpercayaan multimedia. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan peratus persetujuan pakar untuk ciri-ciri istimewa dan kandungan ialah 79.8%. Manakala nilai pekali Cronbach Alpha kebolehpercayaan multimedia ialah 0.88. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif menunjukkan nilai purata min bagi setiap aspek berada pada tahap tinggi serta sisihan piawai yang rendah iaitu reka bentuk multimedia adalah 3.62 (SP: 0.55), kebergunaan multimedia 3.74 (SP: 0.44), kemudahan penggunaan 3.72 (SP: 0.45) dan kepuasan penggunaan (SP: 0.45). Kesimpulannya, majoriti responden memberikan persepsi yang positif terhadap reka bentuk, kebergunaan, kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan penggunaan MultaTLC yang dibangunkan. Implikasinya, pembangunan MultaTLC ini dapat membantu pelajar dengan memberikan gambaran awal tentang cara-cara menjalankan amali dengan tepat dan mengetahui tujuan amali dengan baik.
