Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti faktor persekitaran fizikal bilik darjah yang mempengaruhi tahap pencapaian akademik pelajar tingkatan 4 di SMK seksyen 10 Kota Damansara. Tiga faktor persekitaran fizikal bilik darjah telah dipilih untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap tahap pencapaian akademik pelajar. faktor-faktor berkenaan adalah kedudukan tempat duduk, susun atur meja dan ruang pembelajaran. Kajian ini berbentuk kuatitatif. Soal selidik kajian ini telah diadaptasi dan diubahsuai daripada instrument kajian-kajian lepas. Seramai 30 orang telah dipilih sebagai responden bagi kajian rintis dan 146 orang responden bagi kajian sebenar. Data analisis mengunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensi. deskriptif digunakan untuk melihat frekuensi, min dan peratusan reponden. Data inferensi berganda digunakan untuk melihat pengaruh faktor persekitaran fizikal bilik darjah terhadap pencapaian akademik pelajar. dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap pengaruh faktor kedudukan tempat duduk dan susun atur meja di dalam tahap sederhana.oleh itu, persekitaran fizikal bilik darjah perlu diberi perhatian yang sewajarnya dan dirancang dengan teliti kerana suasan dan persekitaran yang konduktif mampu mempengaruhi suasana, penjanaan idea, penglibatan dan pencapaian akademik pelajar.
