Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan menyelidiki penggunaan kaedah bacaan ulangan untuk membantu
kemahiran membaca murid pemulihan khas. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal
pasti masalah kemahiran membaca murid pemulihan khas, mengenal pasti pelaksanaan
kaedah bacaan ulangan serta mengenal pasti perubahan terhadap kemahiran membaca
yang diperoleh melalui pelaksanaan kaedah bacaan ulangan. Reka bentuk kajian adalah
kajian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian kes. Kajian ini dijalankan di sebuah sekolah
rendah di Merlimau, Melaka. Peserta kajian ini terdiri daripada lima orang murid
pemulihan khas dan seorang guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Peserta kajian telah
dipilih secara persampelan bertujuan. Kelima-lima murid merupakan murid pemulihan
khas yang menghadapi masalah dalam kemahiran membaca. Kaedah pengumpulan data
yang digunakan adalah pemerhatian, temu bual dan analisis dokumen. Manakala
instrumen kajian pula melibatkan borang skor pentaksiran lisan, senarai semak, borang
catatan pemerhatian, analisis rekod perkembangan prestasi murid serta protokol temu
bual. Pemerhatian dijalankan sebanyak enam kali yang merangkumi satu peringkat
baseline dan lima kali sesi kaedah bacaan ulangan. Pengekodan transkrip temu bual
dijalankan sebanyak dua kitaran dengan pendekatan deduktif. Proses analisis data
dilakukan secara manual dengan menganalisis dan membanding dapatan instrumen
kajian secara perbandingan berterusan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa
penggunaan kaedah bacaan ulangan membantu mengurangkan bilangan perkataan yang
salah dibaca oleh murid. Penggunaan kaedah bacaan ulangan juga didapati
mengurangkan bilangan masalah kemahiran membaca serta meningkatkan kelajuan
bacaan murid. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh daripada kajian ini adalah kaedah bacaan
ulangan meningkatkan kemahiran membaca murid pemulihan khas. Implikasi kajian
menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan kaedah bacaan ulangan menghasilkan kelancaran
membaca dalam kalangan murid pemulihan khas. |
