Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk meneroka perspektif Guru Bimbingan dan Kaunseling
dalam aspek penerimaan klien terhadap pelaksanaan kaunseling rujukan. Selain itu, kajian
ini juga bertujuan untuk meneroka aspek kecekapan yang diamalkan oleh Guru Bimbingan
dan Kaunseling di samping turut meneroka cabaran yang dilalui mereka sepanjang
mengendalikan kaunseling rujukan. Pendekatan solusi yang diambil oleh Guru Bimbingan
dan Kaunseling dalam berhadapan dengan cabaran tersebut turut diteroka oleh pengkaji.
Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian kes. Temu bual semi
struktur telah dijalankan ke atas tiga orang Guru Bimbingan dan Kaunseling yang
mempunyai pengalaman dalam mengendalikan kaunseling rujukan ini. Selain itu, pengkaji
turut menjalankan analisis terhadap sumber dokumen sebagai proses triangulasi data. Hasil
dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat sebelas tema yang dibina berdasarkan persoalan
kajian. Antaranya hubungan dan persekitaran terapeutik yang diwujudkan kaunselor,
pengendalian sesi secara beretika, autonomi yang diberikan terhadap klien, sikap dan
amalan positif kaunselor, pengetahuan dalam aplikasi dan teori, penguasaan terhadap
aplikasi kemahiran asas kaunseling, tindakan berfokuskan variasi perkembangan klien,
campur tangan orang luar, sikap dan diri klien, batasan keupayaan kaunselor
mengendalikan klien serta kepelbagaian pendekatan secara kreatif dalam proses
kaunseling. Berdasarkan dapatan kajian, implikasi kajian terutama pelaksanaan kaunseling
rujukan yang dijalankan terhadap kelompok klien yang dirujuk ini dibincangkan. |
