Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan model pelaksanaan Projek Tahun Akhir berasaskan industri pembinaan bagi program Diploma Teknologi Pembinaan di Kolej Vokasional. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah kajian Reka Bentuk dan Pembangunan (Design and Development Research) yang diperkenalkan oleh Richey dan Klien. Kajian ini terbahagi kepada tiga fasa. Fasa I merupakan analisis keperluan yang menggunakan soal selidik kepada 377 orang pelajar dan temu bual kepada lima orang pakar program Diploma Teknologi Pembinaan. Seterusnya fasa II dibahagikan kepada dua subfasa iaitu subfasa reka bentuk komponen dan elemen serta subfasa pembangunan model. Subfasa reka bentuk komponen dan elemen meliputi lapan langkah kajian literatur. Subfasa pembangunan model pula bermula dengan perbengkelan Nominal Group Technique (NGT) yang melibatkan sekumpulan sembilan orang pakar bagi pengesahan reka bentuk komponen dan elemen serta analisis turutan (keutamaan) elemen dalam setiap komponen. Kemudian model pelaksanaan dibangunkan menggunakan kaedah Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) melalui undian kumpulan pakar yang sama dengan berbantukan perisian concept star. Fasa III iaitu penilaian kebolehgunaan pula melibatkan seramai 45 orang pakar/pensyarah Kolej Vokasional menggunakan kaedah Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM). Dapatan keseluruhan fasa I menunjukkan majoriti pelajar dan pakar bersetuju bahawa latihan kemahiran penyeliaan tapak binaan masih belum mencukupi dalam pembelajaran Projek Tahun Akhir sedia ada serta terdapatnya keperluan membangunkan model kajian ini. Dapatan fasa II pula telah menghasilkan model kajian yang terdiri daripada empat fasa, enam komponen dan 35 elemen. Kemudian dapatan fasa III menunjukkan konsensus yang tinggi dalam kalangan pakar/pensyarah terhadap kesesuaian model tersebut. Kajian ini akhirnya menghasilkan satu model pelaksanaan Projek Tahun Akhir yang menerapkan amalan industri sebagai persediaan kepada pelajar sebelum memasuki alam pekerjaan sebagai penyelia tapak binaan. Implikasi kajian ini diharap dapat meningkatkan kebolehpasaran pelajar melalui kesepadanan kurikulum dengan kehendak industri.
