Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Ragbi merupakan sebuah sukan berpasukan yang di mana 15 pemain akan bersaing dengan pasukan yang lain.Secara lazimnya dikenali sebagai ragbi 15 sebelah atau ragbi “15’s”.Sukan ini melibatkan 80 minit tempoh bermain dengan mempunyai dua separuh masa.Setiap separuh masa tempoh bermain adalah 40 minit.Merujuk fakta pemain ragbi 15 sebelah akan bermain di padang bersaiz penuh.Sukan ragbi juga melibatkan kombinasi komponen kecergasan fizikal seperti kelajuan ,ketangkasan dan kuasa ketika berada di dalam padang.Oleh itu,setiap atlet hendaklah mempunyai profil kecergasan bagi menilai prestasi atlet sebelum kejohanan bermula. Tujuan Kajian ini dijalankan untuk membandingkan tahap kecergasan atlet ragbi UPSI dan atlet Malaysia dalam melakukan ujian bronco.Kajian ini dilakukan untuk melihat tahap kecergasan atlet ragbi UPSI mempunyai keputusan yang lebih baik atau kurang baik berbanding atlet Malaysia.Seramai 56 atlet ragbi yang akan akan terlibat di dalam kajian ini dalam melakukan ujian kecergasan bronco.Berdasarkan dapatan kajian,tidak terdapat perbezaan signifikan di antara tahap kecergasan ujian bronco atlet UPSI dan Atlet Malaysia apabila t (28) =0.337, =0.737, p>0.05.Walaupun terdapat perbezaan tahap kecergasan atlet UPSI (m=5.66) adalah lebih daripada atlet Malaysia (m=5.71), namun perbezaan tersebut adalah tidak signifikan.Kesimpulannya,adalah untuk ujian kecergasan dilakukan bagi melihat tahap kecergasan atlet ragbi UPSI bagi menguji komponen kecergasan fizikal.
