| Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti Persepsi Atlet Murid Terhadap Tingkah
Laku Kepimpinan Jurulatih di Sekolah Sukan Malaysia Zon Timur. Instrumen kajian
yang digunakan ialah Leadership Scale for Sport (LSS) versi kegemaran dan persepsi
atlet. Subjek kajian adalah populasi atlet di kedua-dua buah Sekolah Sukan Malaysia
pada tahun 2007 (n=246; SSMP=166, SSMT=80). Dapatan kajian yang diperolehi di
analisis menggunakan Statistik Inferensi. Analisis data kajian yang terlibat ialah Ujiant
Tidak Bersandar bagi persoalan kajian satu, Ujian-t Tidak Bersandar dan ANOVA
sehala bagi persoalan kajian yang dua. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tidak
terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan bagi faktor demografi Sekolah Sukan Malaysia
Zon Timur, jantina, umur dan jenis sukan yang diceburi dan pencapaian. Hasil dapatan
kajian menunjukkan atlet murid di Sekolah Sukan Malaysia Zon Timur menggemari
gaya kepimpinan Latihan dan Arahan, Maklum Balas Positif Demokratik dan
Sokongan Sosial. Jurulatih juga didapati mengamalkan gaya kepimpinan sedemikian.
Gaya kepimpinan jurulatih yang kurang digemari dan kurang diamalkan ialah
Autokratik. Analisis ujian-t dan ANOVA menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbezaan yang
signifikan kecuali di dalam dimensi demokrati yang diamalkan berdasarkan Sekolah
Sukan Malaysia Zon Timur, jantina, umur dan jenis sukan yang diceburi dan
pencapaian. Kesimpulannya, bagi meningkatkan pencapaian atlet remaja dalam
sukan, pihak yang terbabit dengan perancangan dan pelaksanaan program latihan
perlu mengetahui perkara yang mempengaruhi pencapaian atlet murid atlet.
Berdasarkan dapatan kajian, beberapa implikasi dan cadangan kajian lanjutan
dikemukakan untuk menambah pengetahuan kepada pentadbir sukan remaja. |
