Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji gaya pembelajaran yang diamalkan oleh pelajarpelajar Cina yang mengikuti kursus Bahasa Kebangsaan A berdasarkan gaya pembelajaran diperluas. Reka bentuk penyelidikan kuantitatif yang menggunakan kaedah tinjauan dipilih untuk menjawab enam persoalan kajian dan empat hipotesis kajian. Instrumen soal selidik yang mengandungi 56 item yang mewakili lapan konstruk gaya pembelajaran pelajar digunakan bagi mendapatkan data. Seramai 242 pelajarpelajar di sebuah universiti swasta di Malaysia dilibatkan sebagai sampel kajian. Protokol temu bual yang melibatkan sebelas orang pelajar digunakan bagi mengukuhkan data kajian berdasarkan jantina. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi dengan menggunakan nilai min, julat, sisihan piawai, ujian-t, ANOVA satu hala, dan regresi berganda dengan menggunakan program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows versi 25. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa gaya pembelajaran bekerjasama adalah gaya pembelajaran yang paling dominan. Dapatan kajian berdasarkan jantina pula mendapati bahawa pelajar lelaki dominan kepada gaya pembelajaran bekerjasama manakala pelajar perempuan pula dominan kepada gaya pembelajaran penyertaan. Dapatan kajian juga mendapati bahawa terdapat perbezaan min yang signifikan antara gaya pembelajaran diperluas secara keseluruhan berdasarkan jantina. Selain daripada itu, dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan min yang signifikan antara gaya pembelajaran diperluas dengan program pengajian dan juga GPA. Dapatan kajian bagi analisis regresi berganda mendapati bahawa gaya pembelajaran pelajar bagi elemen pengalaman adalah yang paling mempengaruhi GPA pelajar dan diikuti oleh elemen penyertaan. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa pelajar mempunyai pelbagai gaya pembelajaran yang berlainan dan turut mendapati bahawa gaya pembelajaran pelajar tidak boleh diukur berdasarkan kepada satu bentuk pengajaran sahaja. Kajian juga menunjukkan bahawa faktor jantina turut mempengaruhi gaya pembelajaran pelajar. Kajian turut menunjukkan bahawa elemen gaya pembelajaran pengalaman dan penyertaan adalah yang paling mempengaruhi GPA pelajar.
