Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan pembangunan Modul Literasi awal (Modul Lit-A) untuk kanak-kanak TASKA berumur 2+, 3+, dan 4+ tahun. Modul Lit-A dibangunkan untuk memberi pendedahan awal tentang komponen kemahiran literasi awalseperti bahasa dan komunikasi; konsep cetakan dan cetakan persekitaran; fonemik dan fonetik; bacaan dan kefahaman naratif; dan tulisan awal. Kajian ini berbentuk penyelidikan campuran (kualitatif dan kuantitatif) yang menggunakan reka bentuk pengajaran model ADDIE (Analisis, Reka Bentuk, Pembangunan, Pelaksanaan, dan Penilaian) dalam proses pembangunan Modul Lit- A. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada empat orang penilai luar dan 104 orang kanak-kanak TASKA. Dapatan menunjukkan Modul Lit-A mempunyai kesahan kandungan yang tinggi; dan dapat meningkatkan tahap kemahiran literasi awal kanak-kanak TASKA. Justeru, Modul Lit-A dapat dijadikan sebagai panduan kepada ibu bapa atau pendidik dalam menerapkan kemahiran literasi awal pada awal usia kanak-kanak lagi. Ini seterusnya, dapat menyokong dan melengkapkan lagi Kurikulum PERMATA Negara terutamanya dalam bidang pembelajaran Perkembangan Bahasa, Komunikasi, dan Literasi Awal.
