Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Penyelidikan ini bertujuan membina dan menilai model berstruktur ketaakulan statistik yang merangkumi pembinaan model pengukuran dan berstruktur konstruk ketaakulan statistik, kognitif, dan bukan kognitif berdasarkan model persamaan berstruktur-kuasa dua terkecil separa (MPB-KTS). Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kaedah tinjauan digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Seramai 99 responden terlibat dalam penyelidikan ini yang dipilih dalam kalangan bakal graduan program ijazah sarjana muda matematik dengan pendidikan menggunakan teknik persampelan rawak berkelompok. Instrumen penilaian ketaakulan statistik yang diadaptasi digunakan bagi mengumpul data ketaakulan statistik responden. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian SMARTPLS. Dapatan penyelidikan menunjukkan model ketaakulan statistik yang dibina dapat disuaikan dengan data empirikal berdasarkan kriteria kesahan, kebolehpercayaan model pengukuran dan penyuaian padanan model berstruktur. Penyelidikan mendapati kesemua konstruk yang dibina mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan antara satu sama lain. Selain daripada hubungan antara ketaakulan stastistik dan pencapaian akademik, penyelidikan ini berjaya mengesahkan pemboleh ubah penunjuk yang mewakili setiap konstruk yang dibina dengan menggunakan analisis MPB-KTS. Kesimpulannya, penyelidikan ini berjaya membina model ketaakulan statistik serta menilai hubungannya dengan pencapaian akademik dan pemboleh ubah kognitif serta bukan kognitif. Implikasinya, model yang dibina dapat digunakan oleh penyelidik dalam bidang pendidikan statistik bagi menentukan faktor kognitif dan bukan kognitif yang menyumbang terhadap pencapaian akademik.
