Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti tahap pemahaman kanak-kanak prasekolah mengenai konsep bentuk melalui lukisan. Hasil lukisan diinterpretasikan berdasarkan Rubrik Penilaian Tahap Pemahaman Lukisan Kanak-kanak. Sampel kajian adalah seramai 50 orang kanak-kanak prasekolah yang berumur antara 5 hingga 6 tahun dari dua buah sekolah di daerah Bestari Jaya, Selangor. Hasil kajian menunjukkan tahap pemahaman kanak-kanak tentang konsep bentuk adalah pada tahap memahami tetapi bentuk lukisan yang kurang tepat. Kajian ini memberi implikasi kepada guru-guru prasekolah, ibu bapa dan penjaga yang mengajar awal matematik bahawa tahap pemahaman kanak-kanak terhadap bentuk dapat dinilai dengan menggunakan kaedah melukis.
