Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keberkesanan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri 5E
berbanding dengan kaedah tradisional berpusatkan guru terhadap pencapaian sains dan
minat terhadap sains dalam kalangan murid tahun 5. Kajian ini menggunakan reka
bentuk kuasi eksperimen ujian pra dan ujian pos yang melibatkan 65 orang murid tahun
5 di Daerah Gombak. Sejumlah 33 orang murid berada dalam kumpulan eksperimen,
manakala seramai 32 orang murid lagi berada di dalam kumpulan kawalan. Kumpulan
eksperimen didedahkan kepada topik elektrik dan asid dan alkali menggunakan kaedah
Inkuiri 5E manakala kumpulan kawalan yang berpusatkan guru juga didedahkan
dengan topik yang sama. Ujian pra-pencapaian dan soal selidik pra-minat diberikan
kepada kedua-dua kumpulan sebelum intervensi, manakala ujian pos-pencapaian dan
soal selidik pos-minat diberikan selepas intervensi. Hasil analisis data ujian prapencapaian
dan soal selidik pra-minat menunjukkan ketidaksignifikanan untuk prapencapaian
dalam topik asid dan alkali, manakala terdapatnya kesignifikanan untuk
pra-pencapaian dalam topik elektrik dan pra-minat yang bermaksud wujudnya
ketidaksetaraan awal sebelum bermulanya interventsi. Lantaran itu, bagi pospencapaian
dalam topik asid dan alkali, analisis menggunakan ujian-t sampel bebas
menunjukkan kumpulan eksperimen mencapai min yang lebih tinggi dan signifikan
secara statistik berbanding dengan kumpulan kawalan [t (63) = 7.86, p = .000 |
