Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini dilaksanakan untuk membina dan menilai Modul PBM dalam kalangan murid sekolah menengah terhadap penguasaan kemahiran abad ke-21 melalui pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa Melayu. Modul PBM dihasilkan melalui penyepaduan kaedah Reka Bentuk dan Pembangunan (DDR) dan Model Pembinaan Modul Sidek yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga fasa iaitu fasa analisis keperluan, reka bentuk dan pembangunan dan mencuba dan menilai modul. Kaedah Delphi Terubah Suai melibatkan 10 orang panel pakar digunakan untuk menentukan reka bentuk modul PBM. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Ujian-t pengukuran berulang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis kajian bagi penentuan keberkesanan Modul PBM terhadap kemahiran abad ke-21 murid sebelum dan selepas menggunakan modul. Sampel untuk kajian rintis melibatkan 41 orang murid dipilih melalui teknik persampelan bertujuan. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan antara skor min fasa analisis keperluan (3.03 (sd 0.83) dengan fasa penilaian (4.54 (sd 0.26). Ujian-t pengukuran berulang menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan terhadap kemahiran abad ke-21 murid sebelum dan selepas menggunakan modul PBM iaitu (t = -10.59. df = 40) pada nilai p < 0.05. Dapatan ini menunjukkan bahawa modul PBM membantu dalam meningkatkan kemahiran abad ke-21 murid selepas dua bulan pengujian modul dilaksanakan. Kesimpulannya, penghasilan modul ini adalah releven digunakan oleh guru bahasa Melayu untuk meningkatkan kemahiran abad ke-21 murid. Implikasi kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi sumbangan ilmu pengetahuan dan amalan terhadap perkembangan pendekatan pengajaran berasaskan minda khususnya terhadap guru dan murid dalam mempelajari bahasa Melayu.
