Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti keberkesanan e-pembelajaran sebagai medium pengajaran dan pembelajaran kursus komunikasi. Seramai 260 pelajar yang mengikuti kursus Komunikasi terlibat dalam kajian Fasa 1 iaitu pada minggu awal semester, manakala seramai 189 pelajar terlibat pada Fasa ke 2 iaitu pada minggu akhir semester. Kompetensi komunikasi diukur berdasarkan skala Personal Report of Communication Apprehension manakala keberkesanan penggunaan e-pembelajaran oceania berdasarkan kepada dua dimensi iaitu sikap dan niat terhadap penggunaan e-pembelajaran. Analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan min yang signifikan bagi setiap dimensi komunikasi pengucapan awam, kumpulan kecil, mesyuarat dan perbualan biasa. Kajian juga menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan e-pembelajaran dan kompetensi komunikasi. Kajian ini memberi implikasi bahawa e-pembelajaran adalah platform pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang bersesuaian kerana mampu meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi melalui aktiviti secara dalam talian. Selain itu juga, e-pembelajaran sesuai dan boleh diteruskan pada masa hadapan dengan meningkatkan lagi beberapa ciri terkini selari dengan perkembangan teknologi semasa.
