The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate the use of Simulation Through Weblog (SMW) in learning the topic of Movement of Substances Across the Plasma Membrane on the students’ achievement and interest. This study involved 60 students from a residential school in Perak which were divided into two groups. The treated group learned the topic of Movement of Substances Across the Plasma Membrane through the SMW while the control group learned the topic by the common method. The instruments used in this study were the pre test, post test and questionnaires for interest. The hypothesis test involved the use of the ANCOVA test and the Pearson correlation test. Result showed that there was no significant differences (p = .117) in the mean of the post test score between the treated group and the control group. The purposes of this study was to develop and to validate a model of metacognitive-based teaching and learning of mathematics and to analyze phases how to utilize student metacognitive in solving algebra problems. There are two phases in developing a model of metacognitive-based teaching and learning of mathematics. Phase 1 consists of four stages, namely: a) preliminary study, based on theoretical basis and previous studies; b) model planning, which consists of instrument planning and component of teaching and learning, and also a model book; c) realization; d) model validity, tryout, and refinement. There are two purposes of this study. The first purpose is to discover the types of attitudes fostered by the form four students of a secondary school in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan towards learning English. The second purpose was to discover the existence of correlation between students' attitudes and their achievement in English. 164 form four students participated in this survey. A self-designed questionnaire was utilized to identify students' attitudes in learning English while their English achievement was based on their midyear examination results. This study is conducted to construct and examine the usage of al-Amin’s Strategy (SPA) of Akhlak Lessons in bringing up the akhlak-consciousness of form three students in Narathiwat and Pattani provinces. This study aims to analyze the homological functors of some torsion free crystallographic groups, namely Bieberbach groups, with symmetric point group of order six. The polycyclic presentations for these groups are constructed based on their matrix representations given by Crystallographic, Algorithms, and Tables package, followed by checking their consistency. The homological functors which include the nonabelian tensor square, the G-trivial subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the central subgroup of the nonabelian tensor square, the nonabelian exterior square, and the Schur multiplier are determined by using the computational method for polycyclic groups. The structures of the nonabelian tensor squares are explored and the generalization of the homological functors of these groups are developed up to n dimension. The objectives of this study are to synthesize novel chitosan-hydroxyapatite composites doped with strontium, magnesium and zinc via in situ co-precipitation method, to investigate the bioactivity, cytotoxicity and antimicrobial properties of the materials. Physicochemical properties of the products obtained were analysed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential thermal analysis (DTA), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The calcium release from the samples in simulated body fluid (SBF) were measured using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials have emerged as one of the most potential alternative candidate to silicon as future optoelectronic material due to their unique optical and electrical characteristics. However, current fabrication process involving synthesizing the pre-made nanoparticles inside the polymer matrices is tediously complex, costly and time consuming. In this research, two approaches in preparing nanocomposite thin films, in situ hybridization and ex situ hybridization, were studied and the results were compared. In situ hybridization, a novel method, where the nanoparticles were grown directly in the Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) mixed with stearic acid layers by exposing the films to either H2S or H2Se gas. Ex situ hybridization were done by mixing pre-made CdS or CdSe quantum dots into P3HT solution. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan Profil Penaakulan Pelajar (PPP) berdasarkan permainan kategori jaring dan dinding dalam Pendidikan Jasmani. Profil Penaakulan Pelajar berdasarkan permainan kategori jaring dan dinding ditentukan keberkesanannya melalui keputusan Ujian Penilaian Kemahiran Menaakul (UPKM) dan Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI). Reka bentuk kajian kuasieksperimen dijalankan di empat buah sekolah menengah dalam daerah Hilir Perak, Perak. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 280 orang pelajar Tingkatan 2 dan empat orang guru Pendidikan Jasmani. Data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan min, sisihan piawai dan peratusan. Analisis inferensi pula menggunakan ANCOVA dan regresi berganda.
