Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menilai ekspresi karya seni visual yang dihasilkan oleh pelajar Sekolah  Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih (SBJK), Kuala Lumpur dengan memberi tumpuan terhadap tiga aspek iaitu  apresiasi terhadap  seni visual, nilai estetika, dan kesedaran umum terhadap kanak-kanak  gelandangan. Batasan kajian hanya tertumpu kepada pelajar yang bersekolah di Sekolah Bimbingan  Jalinan Kasih (SBJK), Kuala Lumpur. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kualitatif menerusi kajian kes.  Kaedah pengumpulan data kajian melibatkan temu bual telah menunjukkan daya imaginasi dan  pengetahuan kakak-kanak banyak dipengaruhi oleh faktor persekitaran dan individu yang rapat dengan  mereka. Selain itu, kajian melalui analisis karya menunjukkan hasil karya kanak-kanak lebih  dipengaruhi oleh faktor persekitaran, pengetahuan, pengalaman, daya imaginasi dan faktor sosial.  Manakala, kajian melalui rakaman audio dan rakaman visual memperlihatkan kreativiti kanak-kanak  adalah berbeza berdas.....

This study was aimed to investigate teachers’ questioning techniques in developing students’ critical thinking ability that were common in the EFL classroom. This study also seeks to categorise the frequency' of lower-order cognitive question and higherorder cognitive questions. The difficulties faced by the teachers during teachers’ questioning sessions and how the teachers addressed the problems, and teachers’ perspective on developing students' critical thinking through questioning were also examined. A case study design was selected for this study. Six English language teachers from a university in Indonesia were selected as participants through the purposive sampling method. The research instruments used in this study were classroom observation checklists and interview protocol. Data collected were analysed using thematic analysis and frequency counts. Kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  tahap  pelaksanaan amalan keselamatan dan kesihatan di 10 buah  sekolah menengah di Daerah Klang Selangor. Aspek-aspek keselamatan dan kesihatan yang dikaji ialah  aspek keselamatan makmal, bengkel, dan keselamatan umum meliputi kelas, kantin, bilik guru,  tandas, padang dan gelanggang, aktiviti ko kurikulum dan aspek kebakaran. Kajian ini juga untuk  mengetahui adakah terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan di antara pelaksanaan amalan keselamatan dan  kesihatan dari aspek yang dikaji berdasarkan faktor demografi sekolah seperti lokasi sekolah, gred  sekolah dan bilangan pelajar.  Kajian ini menggunakan borang soal selidik yang telah disesuaikan daripada Buku Manual Polisi  Sekolah Selamat. Sebanyak 120 orang respondan telah dipilih secara rawak daripada 10 buah sekolah  di daerah Klang Selangor. Analisa min skor , peratusan, Ujian t dan ANOVA  digunakan dalam membuat  penganalisaan. Kajian dijalankan ke atas aspek keselamatan makmal, bengkel, kemudahan umum seperti kelas, kantin, bilik guru, tandas, padang dan gelanggang, aktiviti ko-kurikulum dan aspek kebakaran. This research was carried out in response to the public doubt on the success of adopting English Language as the medium of instruction in teaching Science and Mathematics subjects. Among the argument made by those who are sceptical about the conversion of language, which are taking place in Science and Mathematics classes in schools is the capability of the teachers involved. Since they were not trained in the English medium, would they be able to absorb the new syllabus? To give light to the vagueness of the situation, a simple survey research was designed.
