The aim of this study is to compare the problem-based learning (PBL) with conventional learning (CL) by looking at the impact on student motivation and achievement. By using Quasi-experimental method, research were carried on high performance and low performance of form five students from one of the school (n=60). Sampling was collected based on form 4 final exams by using a Quota Sampling method. One education of PBL module were developed based on a short term module by using Dick and Carey specification model with a guiding from Temasek Polytechnics Singapore. The data was collected in the form of response to MSLQ motivational test and achievement test. ANOVA was used to analyse mean score for each performance tests and motivational MSLQ tests from experiment group and control group, Whilst paired sample t-test was used to analyse the ratio increment between pre and post test. This research specify on the techniques of singing the "keroncong asli". It uses the qualitative approach based on the case studied as the love of this research. Data collected are from institutions and individuals. The instruments used in collecting data in this research are documentation, reading materials, document analysis, interviews and observation. Documents, reading materials and facts are also gathered from the internet which will then be used to analyse the vocal of keroncong asli. Closed interview are also done with the keroncong singers. So did the observation with the professional singers. During the process of observation, video recording is made and researchers take notes in the progress. After all the data being collected, researchers will then analyse the documents to get the outmost input and all the important information in it. Kepentingan penglibatan ibu bapa dalam pendidikan anak telah banyak dinyatakan oleh kajian-kajian Iepas. Dalam konteks kajian ini, skop penglibatan ibu bapa adalah berdasarkan Model Penglibatan Epstein yang mengandungi enam aspek penglibatan. Aspek-aspek penglibatan tersebut ialah keibubapaan, komunikasi, memberi bantuan secara sukarela, pembelajaran di rumah, membuat keputusan dan bekerjasama dengan masyarakat. Manakala, faktor sosio ekonomi yang dikaji ialah taraf ekonomi keluarga, taraf pendidikan ibu bapa dan bilangan anak. Kajian ini melibatkan 50 orang responden ibu bapa murid berkeperluan khas yang bersekolah di Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) di tiga buah sekolah di daerah Kuala Selangor. When we discuss about influence in the learning process among Orang Asli students, who comes from different ethnic among themselves, in schools, we cannot ignore about the issue of development and their way of thinking based on this unique background among Orang Asli community, I felt a calling to do a research about social influence which focuses on factors that influences the process of acquiring attitude among Orang Asli students, when leraning Visual Art as a subject. Based on my observation in these 9 years, I found that in the livelihood of the Orang Asli community, Art has a high value in their community. They like entertainment, crafts, nature and 'laid back' situations which doesn't require mind improvement. Orang Asli students like doing physical works but not works which require mind application. This is due to social influence in their life. Therefore, before doing this research, a few aspects have to be identified like understanding the background of Orang Asli social-cult.....

Kajian terkini menunjukkan kejayaan penggunaan Pengurusan Kualiti Menyeluruh (TQM) secara bersistematik di dalam Institusi Pengajian Tinggi (lPT). Walau bagaimanapun, kajian tersebut tertumpu pada aspek pengurusan dan pentadbiran; pengajaran dan pembelajaran; dan penyelidikan, tidak meliputi fungsi utama IPT yang lain iaitu penerbitan; perundingan; dan khidmat masyarakat. Di mana tiada kajian lepas yang mengkaji hubungan antara amalan prinsip TQM dan prestasi staf akademik secara keseluruhan (fungsi utama IPT). Kajian juga menunjukkan prestasi sesebuah universiti bergantung secara kolektif kepada prestasi staf akademiknya, dan motivasi mereka boleh menggalakkan peningkatan prestasi dan produktiviti sesebuah IPT. This study assesses the treatment of palm oil mill (PaM) final discharge wastewater using a cost effective technology approach of phytoremediation. paM final discharge wastewater obtained from final distribution pond at KL Kepong Berhad Palm Oil Mill, Tanjong Malim was treated with three species of local macrophytes, Leersia oryoides, Pistia stratiotes and Ludwigia peploides. The phytoremediation performance was evaluated by monitoring the changes and removal efficiency (%) of BOD5, COD, N-NH3, TSS and pH level. The characteristics of nutrient uptake were determined by measuring the percentage of C, H and N elements, bioconcentration factor (BCF) and translocation factor (TF) of Ca, Mg, K, Na, Fe and Zn in leaf, stem and root organs of the macrophytes. The microbial population in the rhizosphere was identified using partial 16S rRNA molecular technique. It was found that BOD5, COD, N-NH3 removal efficiencies of 93%, 30%, and 82% were achieved for Pistia stratiotes, 90%, 27% and 80% for.....

Pembangunan perisian kursus tersebut adalah berdasarkan metodologi kitar hayat pembangunan yang bergelar KHAPH-Pensil. Kaedah pembangunan tersebut merangkumi lima fasa seperti: Analisis, Reka Bentuk, Pembangunan, Implimentasi dan Penilaian. Fasa-fasa tersebut diintegrasikan dengan pelbagai entiti yang berkaitan khusus dengan teori Asas Seni Reka. Journal of Sports Science and Physical Education 5(1): 77-94, 2016 - This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Bachelor of Education (Honours) programmes offered by the Faculty of Sports Science and Coaching in producing quality graduates and their employability in the profession. Samples for this study comprised of 49 graduates from the B Ed (Sports Science), 25 graduates from B Ed (Coaching Science) and nine B Ed (Physical Education) who have graduated from 2010 to 2014 as well as their respective employers and peers were selected as respondents. Six to ten samples from each programme together with their employers were interviewed further using guided questionnaire. Data was analysed descriptively as well as correlation and regression methods. The findings showed that the graduates mastered very high levels of the knowledge and skills of the courses related to their respective programmes.
