| 961 | 2024 Article | The importance of supervisor support for the work outcomes and psychological well-being of Malaysian low-income working mothers Hazalizah Hamzah Low-income working mothers are susceptible to well-being issues. However, research on the interplay between supervisor support and the work outcomes and psychological well-being of Malaysian low-income working mothers is scarce. Therefore, this study identifies the relationship between work outcomes (work stress, work-life balance, workplace bullying) and the moderating role of supervisor support in the psychological well-being of working mothers. Using purposive sampling, data were obtained from a survey of 269 respondents (M-age = 38.15, SD-age = 8.14) employing offline and online methods. The participants completed the demographic section, Psychological Well-being Scale, Work Stress Scale, Work-life Balance Checklist, Malaysian Workplace Bullying Index, and Supervisor Support Scale. Structural equation modelling analysis showed that work stress was the main contributor to psychological well-being (β = -0.41, t = -2.87, p = .004), followed by supervisor support (β = 0.29, t = 3.34,..... 106 hits |

Courses offered at public universities should include relevant knowledge, skills, and field experiences to ensure that students can effectively communicate and resolve clients’ issues. The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) listed 10 standards of social work education, namely the profession, ethics, diversity, social justice, populations at risk, human behaviors, social welfare, practices with individuals, groups and communities, research and skill development. The study aims to evaluate effective social work programs by analyzing the obstacles encountered by public university students in Malaysia to fulfill CSWE standards. A total of 279 final-year students from six public universities pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in social work participated, with questionnaires analyzed using the Statistical Pac..... 93 hits |
| 963 | 2024 Article | Photopolymerization of imprinted polymer with dummy template for the recognition of hydroquinone in aqueous medium Norlaili Abu Bakar This study' purposes are to synthesize molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) with hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) using p-xylene under ultraviolet curing at 405 nm for the recognition of hydroquinone (HQ) in aqueous medium. The template was extracted from the polymer with a mixture of methanol and acetic acid (9:1) by volume (v/v). The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum of MIP (after wash) showed the absence of peak at the range of 840–860 cm−1, which represented the stretching outside the aromatic plane C–H at the para position (p-xylene). Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) micrograph showed that the MIP had cavities compared to non-imprinted polymer (NIP). The MIP (MIP-Pxy) with ratio (monomer:crosslinker) 0.25 and 1.00% template gave the highest uptake of hydroquinone (HQ) in aqueous solution, which implied more specific recognition (highest KD value). The rebinding of HQ onto MIP-Pxy was best described by ..... 121 hits |
| 964 | 2024 Article | Machine learning-based stroke prediction: A critical analysis Muhammad Modi Lakulu Stroke is a critical public health issue that frequently has long-term impairment and negative effects. Devising innovative methods that enable timely and accurate identification and intervention is crucial. In this regard, machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) approaches of artificial intelligence (AI) play a crucial role in reducing the incidence of strokes. This study systematically analyzed articles from 2012 to 2022 using the PRISMA Method. PRISMA is a tool that facilitates researchers’ access to an online platform for self-directed learning. The cumulative quantity of articles gathered for ten years reached 1405 from five databases. However, only 79 relevant articles were used for identification. The main objective was to provide a thorough taxonomy that classifies using and implementing machine learning approaches for stroke prediction. The results of this experiment confirm that machine-learning techniques have a great deal of potential for accurate stroke prediction. ..... 60 hits |

The research aimed to evaluate the current growth and publication trends in Islamic social finance studies, identify the most prolific contributors in the field, determine the most highly cited documents, and explore the research gaps and implications for future research perspectives in Islamic social finance. Data were collected from the Scopus database using keywords such “Islamic Social Finance” OR “Zakat” OR “Sadaqah” OR “Islamic Microfinance” OR “Waqf” and OR “Qard al-Hasan”. A total of 1316 documents were initially obtained, and after screening, 732 documents were included for analysis. The data were analyzed using tools like Biblioshiny and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that most publications were in 2022 (106 publications). The most significant author, affiliation and source were Saad, R.A.J. by the author (16 articles), Intern..... 156 hits |
| 966 | 2024 Article | Image recognition of new year pictures based on machine learning Muhamad Firdaus Ramli New Year pictures are an essential part of Chinese traditional culture, with profound historical deposits and unique artistic value. However, with the rapid development of society, the inheritance and protection of traditional New Year pictures are facing many challenges. One of them is the recognition of the New Year painting images. This paper introduces image recognition technology based on machine learning, including research background, method steps, result discovery, and advantage limitations. Image recognition is an essential means to protect and inherit the traditional New Year painting culture and machine learning technology can improve recognition accuracy and efficiency. This paper presents deep learning implemented through data collection, feature extraction, and classification. The experimental results show that the method can effectively identify New Year images with high accuracy and recall. © 2024, Innovative Information Science and Technology Research Group. | 969 | 2024 Article | Assessing teachers' acceptance of traditional games-based creative movement for increasing preschool children's imagination Muhammad Fazli Taib Saearani This research aims to explore the urgency, content expectations, and teachers' attitudes towards learning creative dance based on traditional folk games in building the imagination of preschool children. Knowledge about the teacher's urgency, content, and attitudeis needed to develop a creative dance learning model that can increase the imagination of preschool children using traditional folk games. A survey conducted on 40 preschool teachers in Malaysia showed that teachers felt an urgency to improve children's imagination (mean = 4.48), proposed somecontent related to traditional games (mean = 4.45), and saw that traditional games could inspirea creative movementto increase children's imagination (mean = 4.41). This research is still in the early stages of evaluating teacher needs and readiness and has not yet reached the design or empirical testing of the Active-Tradir model. Nevertheless, these findings provide a strong basis for further develo..... 165 hits |
