1 | 2018 research_report | Kesan pembelajaran koperatif terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Kadazandusun berbantukan elemen multimedia di peringkat menengah rendah Julita Norjietta Taisin Multimedia yang merupakan salah satu cabang dalam teknologi komputer, dikatakan mempunyai potensi
yang tinggi dan berkesan dalam proses PdP. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti kesan
pembelajaran koperatif berbantukan elemen multimedia dalam PdP Bahasa Kadazandusun dan
menganalisis pencapaian antara pembelajaran koperatif dan pembelajaran secara individu berdasarkan
penggunaan multimedia. Metodologi yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan
ujian pra dan ujian pasca iaitu kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan rawatan. Analisis data dengan
menggunakan analisis data, skor ujian pra ujian pasca dengan cara peratus melalui kertas ujian. Dapatan
kajian menunjukkan bahawa proses PdP yang disampaikan melalui bahan multimedia dengan kombinasi
teks, grafik, audio, video dan animasi melalui pembelajaran koperatif mampu meningkatkan kefahaman
dalam kalangan pelajar yang berbeza tahap pembelajaran iaitu meningkat dari 75% kepada 97%.

2 | 2019 research_report | Using the Scamper technique for multimedia asset creation to improve creative expression and critical-thinking skills in fashion design Arasinah Kamis This study is aimed to explore the effectiveness of SCAMPER techniques in clothing
design courses based on student perspectives. SCAMPER is an acronym for particular
techniques that generate ideas namely Substitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to
Other Use, Eliminate and Rearrange. Creating a multimedia asset can be a challenge,
especially when the students are required to produce it in a short period of time. Hence,
this idea generation technique is introduced to the students to enhance their creativity,
critical thinking and speed in their asset creation. The research design of this study used
a qualitative approach. The sampling technique was used to select 24 students from the
second year majoring in Fashion Design and Merchandiser Apparel in the Faculty of
Arts and Design. Data were collected through interviews, observations and document

3 | 2019 research_report | Developing and validating a mobile cartoon learning model to enhance critical thinking among economics undergraduates Khoo, Yin Yin Economics students are facing problem to think critically and participate effectively in the
collaborative learning context. Developing mobile cartoons that are related to students’ daily life
and address aspects of thinking can help improve students’ critical thinking. The aim of this study
is to develop a structural model for promoting economics students’ critical thinking. This new
model is based on Vygotsky’s (1997) Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) theory and
Multimedia Learning Theory (Mayer, 2014). This study employed the quantitative research
method. Phase one involved the developing of the model. In phase two, survey design was
employed. A total of 293 economics students from two public universities were selected as
