The purpose of the study was to explore the professional identity development of one distinguished   counselling  figure  in  Indonesia.  It  aimed  to  explore  the  aspects  that influence the  participant’s professional identity development. Besides, the study also aimed   to   identify    the   turning   points   of   the   participant’s   professional   identity development as well as  the phases connected to it.  This study employed a qualitative methodology using narrative  approach.
