| 2 | 2019 Article | Role of Supply Chain Management on the Job Control and Social Support for Relationship between Work Family Conflict and Job Satisfaction Azlina Abu Bakar The present study investigates the relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction of Malaysian workers (N = 1125) based on the supply chain management. It examines the direct and moderating effects of job control and social support on work-family conflict and job satisfaction relationship. The current study examines the Job Demand-Control (JDC) [1] and Job Demand-Control-Support (JDCS) [2] models which are under research in the work-family conflict. Hierarchical regression analyses in the study reveal that work to family conflict (WFC), family to work conflict (FWC) and social support have a direct effect on job satisfaction. However, the result reveals that employees’ job control was not the primary predictor of their job satisfaction. Contrary to the prediction of the JDCS model, the moderating effects of job control and social support on the relationship between work-family conflict and job satisfaction are not found. | 4 | 2019 Article | Organizational Justice and Job Satisfaction among Malaysian Workers Azlina Abu Bakar The aim of the study is to investigate the organizational justice and job satisfaction among Malaysian workers via hierarchical multiple regression as a method. The result indicated that organizational justice, job control and social support uniquely predict wellbeing (job satisfaction). Interestingly, the pattern of interaction showed that employees who perceived the interactive effect of high interactional justice and high job control reported lower levels of job satisfaction. Studies on suicide ideation in Malaysian young adults were rarely conducted for the public due to cultural and religious factors. Numerous studies on depression and suicide among young people in Malaysia have often been conducted in developed and high-population densities such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Pulau Pinang, Sabah, and Sarawak. In contrast, states on the East Coast of Malaysia recorded fewer studies on suicide and depression by researchers. Thus, this study investigates the relationships and predictive effects of depression and self-esteem on suicide ideation among undergraduate students. Social isolation, a consequence of the pandemic, has strained the boundaries of human cooperation, giving rise to a spectrum of mental health challenges including stress, fear, grief, anxiety, and depression. This research empirically investigates the concept of social distance concerning individuals with mental health conditions while considering biopsychosocial determinants, notably social media influence and attitudes. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on a sample comprising 424 students from public universities along the eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This study aims to identify key factors necessary for effective learning in rehabilitation schools for juveniles. A constructivist grounded theory (CGT) approach was employed to gain a deeper understanding. Fifteen teachers, three administrators, and five education experts participated in the study using purposive sampling. Data was collected via in-depth interviews with these participants. The thematic analysis revealed four main themes essential for effective learning among juveniles: teachers (qualifications, teaching methods, and attitudes), juveniles (emotions and interest in learning), rehabilitation schools (administrator support and learning facilities), and community (support from families and assistance from governmental and non-governmental organizations).
