Using PLS-SEM and multistage cluster sampling, the research analysed data from 1,371 students using the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale and Adult Attachment Scale. The study's findings articulate a negative direct effect of adult attachment on coping styles (_ = -0.064, T = 4.802, p < 0.001). Conversely, there is a positive direct effect of adult attachment and social anxiety (_ = 0.08, T = 2.057, p = 0.020). Coping style is a significant negative predictor of social anxiety (_ = -0.163, T = 3.384, p < 0.001). Most notably, feelings of inferiority as a moderator positively effect social anxiety (_ = 0.384, T = 11.979, p < 0.001). In contrast, psychological resilience demonstrated a strong negative moderating effect with social anxiety (_ = -0.292, T = 8.46, p < 0.001..... 3 hits |
