This research aims to survey the responds and subscriptions of UPSI staffs to takaful family products which are offered by takaful companies based on several factors. Samples of 726 respondents are selected from academic and non academic staffs. The questionnaire forms are used in gathering information related to the research which are then analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 software, research outcome show that 83 percent of respondents subscribe to insurance offered by takaful or conventional insurance companies. On the other hand, only 17 percent of the respondents are not involved with any insurance products. From the figure, 48 percent of the respondents opt to products by takaful whereas the rest tends to choose conventional insurance products. Kajian ini cuba mengkaji hubungan di an tara kemeruapan bersyarat pasaran sahai Malaysia dengan pembolehubah makroekonomi menggunakan data bulanan dari bula Januari 1992 hingga Disember 2005. kemeruapan bersyarat diukur menggunaka anggaran Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH). The aim of this study is to evaluate vegetative characters for development of a workable vegetative field guide and to map Artocarpus in Perak Province. Morphological characters of Artocarpus were examined based on modified Hickey and Berg et al. methods, and then evaluated using numerical analysis. Thirty-nine morphological characters were evaluated using Multi-Variate Statistical Package (MVSP) and Phylogeny Analysis Using Parsimony (PAUP) showing that these characters are of taxonomic significance at genus, tribe and species level. Bole lenticel and bark colour prove to be of taxonomic significance at subgenus level whilst leaves shapes, leaves texture, latex, and venation can lead to species identification. A total of 14 species of Artocarpus were successfully collected (n>350) from specified regions within Perak Province. Bila membicarakan perkembangan novel Melayu orang lantas mengatakan Syed Sheikh Al-Hadi dengan novel Hikayat Faridah Hanumnya sebagai pelupur yang ulung, sambil itu memberikan pula peringatan bahawa watak dan latar nya adalah negara Mesir. Kemmudian orang terus menyebut bahawa Ahmad bin Haji Muhammad Rashid Talu dengan novelnya Kawan Benar sebagai pengarang yang pertama menulis novel Melayu yang watak dan latarnya benar-benar Tanah Melayu. Tanggapan ini adalah disebabkan oleh beberapa orang ahli kesusasteraan yang telah menulis buku-buku memberikan pendapat itu. Antaranya ialah Annas Haji Ahmad dalam bukunya Sastera Melayu Baru, Yahya Ismail dalam buku-bukunya Bimbingan Sastera Melayu Moden dan Satu Kajian Mengenai Karya-Karya Ahmad Talu, serta diikuti pula oleh Drs. Li Chuan Siu dalam bukunya Ikhtisar Sejarah Kesusasteraan Melayu Baru 1830 -1945, dan harus beberapa buku dan oleh ahli sastera yang lain lagi.
